How to Install and Activate Microsoft PowerPoint 2024Updated 4 hours ago

Before you start: If you have an older version of Microsoft Office on your computer, you need to remove it first. Open the Control Panel, click "Uninstall a program", find Microsoft Office, and click "Uninstall".

1. Go to setup.office.com and click "Get started".

2. Sign in with your Microsoft account. If you don't have one, click "Create an account" to make a free one.

3. Enter your product key (the 25-character code you received by email) and click "Next".

4. Click "Redeem".

5. Now go to account.microsoft.com/services and click "Install" next to PowerPoint to download it to your computer.

6. A window will pop up, click "Install" to start downloading PowerPoint.

7. Once "OfficeSetup" finishes downloading, click "Open file". If a security warning appears, click "Run".

8. Wait for PowerPoint to finish installing, this may take a few minutes.

9. Once you see "You're all set!", click "Close".

10. Open the Start menu, type "PowerPoint", and click to open it.

11. Click "Sign in or create account" and sign in with the same Microsoft account you used to redeem your product key.

PowerPoint is now activated and ready to use.
